No parking today.  Been waiting downstairs in the parking garage for 45 mins.  No street parking anymore either.

I’ve had Craig at RedLetter do a couple for me. Excellent work and cool guy to deal with.

Second this.  Just had one done this past week.  30 min turnaround for me.

We had a few people come in that said that their semi autos were getting failures to fire but that their bolt action rifle' had no issues at all with one lot.  Leads me to believe that the primers were either especially hard or that the anvil needs to have a very deep pinstrike.

We had a couple of different batches, what's on your headstamp?

Here's a couple pics.

Thanks a lot for the helpful replies.

Reloading / Spanish Surplus 7.62 issues
« on: November 12, 2014, 09:55:31 PM »
Hey gang, I was wondering if anyone purchased any Spanish surplus 7.62x51 from OGC a while back.  I purchased about 500 rounds and kept them in my safe(very dry, goldenrod and dessicant packs).  I had 1 of them fire out of 10.  Anyone else have problems with this ammo, or did i just get a bad batch?  Mahalo in advance!

The way to do it is to ask request that HFD provide statistics for the amount of rescues, man hours, and cost for rescues that are associated with the KH trail.  If you ask in advance, they will be able to provide the information at a future meeting.  The individual delivering the statistics is required to submit any questions asked at Neighborhood Board Meetings back to HFD Administration.  They will follow up as soon as the next month's meeting.

I know for a fact that DH trail is probably the worst when it comes to rescues, especially if AIR 1 is involved.  The amount of rescues that happen over the course of a weekend due to stupidity/negligence is amazing.

Trails have been closed in the past due to safety issues, i.e. Sacred Falls.  Might be a different situation, but still food for thought.

Nice.  Is this a single stage?

While the range is hot, you can stand right behind her

Main thing is listen to the range commands.

Don't go in front of the yellow line during a cease fire. This is the big one that got me in trouble my first couple trips to the range.
Don't go grab your water or anything else off the bench during a cease fire.

Have your targets and supplies ready before cease fire, they'll give you a heads up to finish up your magazine.
Go out and repair/replace your target and when heading back walk straight past your bench behind the yellow line.

Muzzle down range all the time, even when uncasing and casing your rifle.
Magazines out and action open during cease fire as they'll walk the line checking each firearm.

The range officers are generally pretty cool.

Oh, and sign-in in the range book next to the office.

Excellent advice.  Follow this and you should be good!

And don't be afraid to ask questions.  Most people are real cool about helping out.

LIFE class today was fun.  Nice to see that the wife is starting to get the bug.   She was a bit intimidated at first, but the instructors did an excellent job of encouraging her to just relax and shoot.  After failing in my attempts to teach her golf and how to lift weights properly, I learned my lesson and left the teaching to the professionals.  I tested her when we got home and she remembered everything.  Thanks again to the LIFE Instructors today(Bill, Lyle, and the rest).  I've been shooting for years, and I still managed to learn a lot.  Thank you for everything.
