try add a bit of baking soda
that helps a lot with the burning sensation (heads)

Navage works great.  I use the Navage brand saline pods.  There are hacks online to make your own pods out of empties, but it seems to not work as well and is prone to causing discomfort if the water-salt ratio isn't perfect in my experience.

You need to make sure the water temp is within a few degrees of 90F +/-., but below 95F

Most common issue I see is not taking time to mix the saline with the water well enough.  I use filtered tap water.  It burns if you leave out the saline or don't mix thoroughly similar to inhaling water in the shower..

You'll know it's working when you see what winds up in the collection "tank".   :shake:

General Discussion / Re: Is Mike Glover screwed?

there are 3 sides to every story
one side
the other side
and the truth...

He was arrested for domestic violence.  His gf's statement in the police report sounds sketchy.  I mean, who locks the door when giving their child a bath?  But Mike messed up to by having a friend contact her during the no contact order. And did so by telling his friend this over the jail phone (all calls are recorded).

He already had to surrender all his guns and ammo for violating the no contact order.  But if found guilty of DV, then he could lose his 2A right.  I'm sure he will fight this to the end due to him losing his 2A right.  As in no plea deal.

It will be interesting to see how this will play out.  There are 2 sides to every story.  Except his violation of the no contact order.

He has been outspoke on the feds ever since his preppers group was designated a domestic terrorist org.  His vids also mention other sketchy things the feds do and stuff overseas.  I wonder if this was their way to silence him.  Kicking in his door would be very dangerous, so would pulling him over in his car.  So go thru the gf to slowly get him in a bad spot.

i generally say 3 days

Define "too long."  The Wiki article states longer than 5-7 days.

Is the time limit different based on amount applied with each use?  Number of applications?  Prior sinus issues like sinusitis?

I always roll my eyes when being warned to do or not do something after reading "although evidence has been contradictory."

Everyone I know who used Afrin on a regular but as-needed basis already knows when they are using it too often and taper off, opting for sinus cleaning devices like neti pots, Navage and humidifiers with decongestant additives.  I also take an antihistamine to ward off allergy symptoms.  That helps reduce the need for sprays.

As a matter of fact, one of the reasons the doctor prescribed Flonase was to avoid the Afrin issues, but I imagine the spray's price keeps users from using it with the same frequency as Afrin.

Correction:  I said Prilosec before -- the first thing to come to mind.
I meant Flonase.  Prilosec is an acid reducer,
A real doctor would have caught that error.

try not to use afrin for too long
look up "rhinitis medicamentosa"...

I'd been going through periodic bouts of coughing that lingers for a month or so -- then nothing for 2-3 months.

Doctor said my sinuses showed irritation and prescribed very expensive sinus relief OTC remedy:  Prilosec.

I tried it, but it didn't last anywhere near what the product claims.  So i went back to what i know works:  Afrin.

I also bought a sinus irrigation device:  Navage.

Together, I use them to keep my sinuses clear.  No more coughing fits, which is a great thing in the age of COVID.

I don't know if its allergies or just the weather, but something changes from season to season that causes my sinuses to become closed up, dried out and irritated.

to all you madafathas!
13
goalposts moved...

The other two have not had charges filed.
14
so you admit you were lying before when you said anyone else would be in jail
got it...

Everyone should be held accountable.   Including biden and Hillary.
15
biden's team packed and shipped the boxes on their own, not on the trump team's request
the covers labeled "top secret" were placed on the files and photographed, which is not correct protocol
some of the files that had the covers applied were not top secret
the files were not logged correctly and placed in the correct boxes in the correct order
there's more that i'm forgetting
but jaco's opinion that the trial being held in FL had something to do with the indefinite hold is probably right  ::) ???

Clinton had such highly classified documents and messages on her illegal, unsecured server, even the Congressmen investigating didn't have high enough clearance to view them.  She then destroyed some 30K+ messages after they were under subpoena, many of which FBI director comey testified under oath were highly classified -- not about yoga classes.

Biden had classified documents stored unsecured in his garage after he left office, too.

Trump had the documents in question in a locked and secured room.  Since we can assume with 100% certainty that Trump didn't pack all of that himself and move it with his own two hands, it's plausible -- in not very likely -- he was unaware what was being moved to his residence.  Potentially, anyone wanting to get him in trouble with the law yet again could have purposely added classified files to the boxes without Trump's knowledge or the knowledge of the movers.

But, please, tell us how "anyone else" with classified documents would be in jail right now.
16
cry, i mean, try again
biden is in jail for his documents?
hillary is in jail for deleting emails?

Unfortunate,  trump is above the law in florida. If it was anyone else with those docs they be in jail right now.
17
first of all, the cases are in 4 different jurisdictions, so they cannot coordinate the order
B- you are implying that these prosecutions are being driven by one group, which the democrats deny  >:D
3- all the cases are BS, even this one you call the "strongest case" is being held indefinitely due to the problems with the handling of the files...

Funny that instead of this case, their strongest case, going first they lead with the BS cases.
18
so you state it as fact, yet have no proof
got it...

Too bad; Trump knows who did it and that's good enough for me.

19
please prove the US blew up the pipeline
and don't post a video of someone speculating it can be done and call it a "smoking gun"...

Anything that helps the Palestinian noncombatants in Gaza is always welcomed, but I would not have any illusion of the sincerity of the gesture.

I'm confused.  What question were you asking?

Once again, kudos to Trump for the act of kindness; however, I would not give him or any other politician a special award for doing so.

By your logic, the US empire not just does the opposite, but blows up gas pipelines to maintain its control over its EU vassal states.

Russia gives the gift of cheap natural gas to the EU promoting economic prosperity, the US empire btiches about this arrangement and then proceeds to blow up the Nord Stream pipeline as a lesson to the EU reminding them who's their daddy.
