General Discussion / Taking back CHAZ
« on: June 19, 2020, 04:54:36 PM »
Not sure if this article is reliable or true,  but looks like on the 4th of July patriots are planning to take back cap hill.
Remove the barricades,  clean graffiti,  and re open the police station.

Anyone want to take a guess what side LEO will support

Brutal beating of two Japanese tourists in Kakaako makes news headlines in Japan.
http://www.khon2.com/news/local-news/brutal-beating-of-two-japanese-tourists-in-kakaako-makes-news-headlines-in-japan/1212229204

The guy was using a public bathroom on coral street, gets attacked,  the wife comes to investigate and gets choked out.  Apparently nothing stolen.
It's making news in Japan so HTA, etc made a statement, essentially trying to do damage control.

Changemyoil, that's why I always sweep the bathroom stalls first and wait inside for my wife.

General Discussion / Coincidence
« on: August 22, 2017, 03:31:56 PM »
In the recent past it seemed as though firearm violence was on the rise.  You could almost predict when a mass shooting was about to occur.  Media kept talking about how evil guns were and had specialist come in to talk about solutions such as banning firearms. Our elected officials were urged to pass laws for the safety of children and everyone else.
It seemed as though America was on the brink of losing our firearms rights forever.
And suddenly,  miraculously, almost as if overnight,  without the passing of new laws,  mass shootings in America became non existent.  The media doesn't even mention firearms anymore.  We even have a president that supports and wants to expand firearms rights and protect the constitution.
Am I the only one that noticed this?

If there talking about it does that mean it's true?
https://www.google.com/amp/nypost.com/2016/11/09/the-one-scenario-that-could-still-get-hillary-into-the-white-house/amp/?client=ms-android-att-us

Apparently there is a petition or poll of some sort.
However I was wondering if there is any truth to this?
Do you think it's possible for her to lie,  cheat,  kill her way into the office at the last second

I remember before their used to be an interactive website where you could look up the HPD stats for your area, or any area in Hawaii, and it would show you the B&E, auto theft, etc, etc, what street it was in, date and time and whatnot.  Anyone familiar with this site and know if its still around and how I can find it.  Let me know.  Thanks.  :shaka:

Off Topic / Excessive speeding ticket
« on: April 27, 2015, 05:27:21 PM »
A friend of mine got an excessive speeding ticket for doing 75mph in a 45 zone.  Cop wrote the ticket as excessive speeding 30+ over speed limit. HRS 291C-105 (a)(1).  The cop said he could arrest, but wont. He also said you could pay a fine instead of going to court but it doesn't list the amount, only the court date.  If im not mistaken that means you need to show for court and cant just pay the ticket online.  Its also their first time ever getting a ticket.  Should my friend get a lawyer to help fight this?  Also since this is the first time is there a chance the judge will reduce the charges?  Can they use a deferred plea?  Anyone got insight or suggestions for a lawyer.

General Discussion / Shooting archery
« on: January 04, 2015, 07:43:12 PM »
Anyone here into shooting archery or go out and shoot?

I was gonna pick up a pair of M&P15-22s for christmas, his and hers, but after talking it over, she chose archery instead, which im ok with.  In laws not fond of guns, gonna wait till we get our own place, etc, etc.  Anywho been doing research and learned theres a new archery store in town.  They got their own range and whatnot so we decided to check it out this weekend.  They were nice and offered us an introductory class. Spent about an hour for the class shooting recurve bows 25 & 30lb and maybe half hour talking stories and asking questions. It was a great experience, we both loved it.  Now im thinking of picking up my own bow.  I got space in my yard to set up a target.

Anywho was wondering who here was into archery or goes bow hunting or if anyone had old gear they wanted to sell.  Eventually we want to take the bow out hunting, but for now, just build up some trigger time, get more comfortable, learn the right ways, practice form, etc.  Share your archery knowledge with me!!  :shaka: :shaka:

Off Topic / First hunt
« on: April 13, 2014, 12:01:02 PM »
Went on a hunt a couple weekends ago. Lots of deer running. Shot 2 deer. My first buck and his wife.  Nah a small doe. Here's the pictures.  Uncle made me carry out the deer and eat the liver.  They also got a picture of me de boning the deer.  Great day, got in quick then got back out. Looks like I'll have meat to bring home next month.  I shot this with a .270, someone let me use their rifle cause mines wasn't ready.  The horn is sitting on the fence outside making everything stink. Lol. Hopefully aieahound will come for a hunt soon.  Would also like to thank rocky for working on the pictures.
