Ever wonder about how come the gun control folks always seem to have an answer to everything?
There really is a tactical guide for anti-gun arguments:
Gun ViolenceMessaging Guide PDF-1 (http://www.scribd.com/doc/157890708/Gun-ViolenceMessaging-Guide-PDF-1#) [put in a working link --- Funtimes]
I've long bellyached about how come, with all the military folks in gun organizations, with all their expertise in tactics and strategies, we haven't developed pro-active plans of attack instead of always merely reacting to the anti assaults.
I believe quotations from it would fall under the Fair Use Doctrine, but I am reluctant to present even sample quotes, since there is an inherent adversarial relationship between "them" and "us."
You'll have to look it over for yourself.
You might well conclude that "their" generalship is far better than "our" generalship.

Terry, your link didn't work.

Rats. Try this and see Post 4 in this Gunrightsmedia thread. That's where I got the link.

It still works for me from here, on the 2ahawaii site, but maybe I'm just pulling up a cached copy on my machine, which I downloaded.
Let me know.

I just edited the first post to add a link from Scribd. I was looking at this earlier, and it looks like we either overloaded his system or they took it down lol.
Here is a link for everyone: Gun ViolenceMessaging Guide PDF-1 (http://www.scribd.com/doc/157890708/Gun-ViolenceMessaging-Guide-PDF-1#)

OK, thanks!
I would recommend caution in quoting it or re-posting it wholesale. "They" are an adversarial lot, and the "Fair Use Doctrine" is a little <ahem> blurry in some respects.

That thing is unbelievably full of lies and half-truths.

Wow. Basically what it says: Use emotional arguments, "military weapons" don't belong on our streets, and trust the cops for everything...
I bet those two women in a truck the LAPD shot up during their manhunt would agree...
