Title: participant(s) of the day and quote of the day (HDF range day)
Post by: macsak on August 31, 2013, 06:13:32 PM
i do not believe anyone there today had more fun than fatpanda and um... skinnypanda
and fatpanda told me at the end, when i asked him if he had fun, "yeah, i'm not going to the regular range any more, i'm going to save all my ammo for HDF range days"

I'm glad they enjoyed themselves. I had fun as always. I invited my airsofter friend to join in for the free shoot portion and he had a blast as well.

yes they do... didn't shoot much today cause I was airsofting till midnight last night. I was going for the sleep deprivation training today. P.s. need some feedback video of today. Even some of the other drills you got. Thanks sak.

i'll edit the video this week and bring it to chris' house

so the next question is:
shane's shooting skills- learned or innate?

Too funny.  Your belt was just a tad too big for her...

Skinny Panda is cool, so you better get her her own belt and a purple .22 pistol. ;)

Playing and practicing with airsoft guns has both good and bad sides. I'm still learning a lot and always trying to improve my shooting.

just remembered the second best quote of the day
my friend erik just got his guns this week
he is a very calm and quiet guy
when the free range time started, and everyone starts busting out their hardware, we were shooting shotguns at the line, and someone unleashes mag dumps with a slidefire
instead of screaming "WTF is THAT!?!", he calmly turns to me and quietly says, "later on you are going to have to explain to me how that is legal"

i do not believe anyone there today had more fun than fatpanda and um... skinnypanda
and fatpanda told me at the end, when i asked him if he had fun, "yeah, i'm not going to the regular range any more, i'm going to save all my ammo for HDF range days"

well not sure if you was there when shane did the vickers drill but it was impressive smooth as all get out. That can only come  from alot of trigger time and definetly not from the bench side of range.

i heard and saw it from the tables- i was reloading
looked and sounded impressive from afar
even more impressive since he was using his 45 degree iron sights

Shoots, no problem Macsak. Figured out why the Glock was jamming, the Storm Lake barrel chamber was too tight. Slapped the OEM back in and no troubles... so we have to do another course again! Would we have to be NRA Instructor certified to run it after Chris leaves?

note to those who were taking videos-
some of the training opportunities that were done may not look good to the general public
i am publishing my videos to my private youtube channel and am only distributing links via pm for that reason

I assume only if you not going tell the anti's of the carnage that we call training in a safe controlled environment that could be mistaken as well you know.

has anyone tried to order anything from bravo concealment before?  i was wondering why the hell does it cost $32 for shipping for a holster?
Title: Re: participant(s) of the day and quote of the day (HDF range day)
Post by: macsak on September 07, 2013, 05:36:05 PM
costs $32 because they are bravo concealment
do you have one of the quick ship models?
because if you don't, you are gonna have to wait a LONG time
i ordered from NSR tactical
they have a thread on this forum
shipped in way less than 2 weeks, and in a flat rate box!
wait, i'll find the thread
http://2ahawaii.com/index.php?topic=6969.msg66386#msg66386 (http://2ahawaii.com/index.php?topic=6969.msg66386#msg66386)
king keoni said he found the fit and finish better than his bravo

communication was great, and he had a problem obtaining my P30 mags, so he had me mail him my mags and he reimbursed me the postage i spent
the wait time would've been even shorter if i didn't have to mail him my mags
send him an email and tell him your needs
tell him macsak and 2ahawaii sent you
