Title: Modded Mossberg 930
Post by: AmbuBadger on September 01, 2013, 09:35:22 PM
Hey guys! I finally finished my 930 and thought I'd throw up some pics and get some feedback. I stippled the forearm and stock after melting the checkering and flattening it, took off the rib and added a new front sight after hitting the barrel with some AlumaHyde II, added a MagPul rail with a NovaTac light & remote, vecroed the receiver and stock for my shell caddies, cut the stock charging handle and epoxied a .44 mag casing to it (don't laugh, it's super comfy to operate!), Dremeled the mag well and polished it along with the shell lifter, cut out the forearm, added and Nordic extension and bolted it all together with a MagPul magazine tube clamp/sling mount. Okay, enough of that, here's the pics:(http://i269.photobucket.com/albums/jj61/InfernoGmbH/M930Bd_zpse693d582.jpg) (http://s269.photobucket.com/user/InfernoGmbH/media/M930Bd_zpse693d582.jpg.html)

Yeah, it wasn't until HDF free shoot sessions that I realised how important a heat shield was!

Held it on Saturday and it is a sick setup. Really grippy stipiling(sp?) and super bright fiber optic front.

LOL. Plus being semi-auto it's super easy to feed it rounds.

That was my cousin Darren, he was running an M930 SPX. I'll shoot him a text and find out, he likes it.though. I had a dual shell holder before, and only one lined up with the port while the other just got in the way and hit the charging handle on the way in.
