I love when criminals pick the wrong guy to rob. One robber dead and other two shot and then charged with the murder of their dead friend that the deputy shot and killed.

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – An alleged robber is dead, and two men believed to be his accomplices are hospitalized and facing second-degree murder charges.  It all comes after the group allegedly tried to rob an off duty sheriff’s deputy who was jogging with a friend in Forest Park. That off duty officer had a gun of his own.

The two alleged accomplices in the robbery were charged with 2nd degree murder, armed robbery, and armed criminal action. The murder charges are the result of a Missouri statute allowing anyone involved in the commission of a felony to be charged with murder if anyone dies as the crime is being committed.
