i call bull on espero
i have to find that interview at the gun show the other time where he basically was scared someone was going to shoot him

Just received a response from Will Espero :

Messaging me by Facebook is not the best way to communicate with me. Expect delays if u use FB. I am a gun owner. I support your 2nd amendment rights.

------------------------------------

This is what I wrote with regards to their responses :

Thank you for the response, sir. I must apologize for my blunt and somewhat disrespectful response in my last message. You must understand that I, and others like me, feel our current state representatives and senators are failing us by supporting party interests over the concerns and issues of the people. I truly do appreciate your response to my questions.

Although I will hold you to your word, if you can guarantee that you will keep your word should you win your seat, I will keep my word and show my support for you, as well as have my constituents attempt to support you as well.

I wish you the best of luck. Please do not let us down as many others have and currently continue to do so.

-------------------------------------------------

With every politician I am engaging with, I am hoping to get a response to (2) basic questions:

- Will you support the Constitution or party interests?
- If you violate your oath of office, will you hold yourself accountable and/or allow your constituents/citizens to hold you accountable?

I've asked the same questions to Gabbard, Schatz, Hirono and Hanabusa; all refuse to comment. Hopefully I can figure out when they will have their next town hall / campaign meeting so I can present these questions directly, film it and put it on youtube.

The response I got from Gabbard and Hirono basically tell me they want more restrictions.  Gabbard also went on to mention how she had more firearms training than most residents in Hawaii because of time in the US Army.  I was kind of pissed off at that response as she automatically assumed I like many olther people in people never took the time to serve as well.  I automatically sent my response after reading it.  I did not get a reply after that.

I never got a response from the other 2.

I never respect that kind of elitism and that is the reason why in MY OPINION, one should never mix a military career concurrently with a political one. Just because she served in the Army National Guard doesn't make her any better than most Hawaii residents. In both capacities she serves the residents of Hawaii and doesn't dictate laws/regulations for us to follow.

Using their responses as documentation for calling them on failure to uphold the constitution is great, but no one should ever consider voting for any democrat.  Republicans are worthless too, but dems are categorically enemies to the constitution.....nowadays, that is precisely what and who they are.

Gabbard's comments are rank elitism. As if having been in the military categorically makes you more proficient in all things firearms than a civilian.  That's what she meant.  And I have to say, I'm am viscerally sick of hearing her referred to as a 'combat veteran'. The breathtaking insult that is to guys who actually have been in combat and have returned whole or otherwise.....and to those who haven't returned.  She is so fake, like Stanley Chang.  If for no other reason but just for her voice and manner of speaking.  Straight out of the Hillary Clinton school of speech.

Espero, along with galuteria, green and baker, authored SB69 - they are snakes.  He also authored many other more insane anti gun gems that never even got past first draft, so screw him.......and for that matter, screw him and his stupid hat!  What is that?  A friggin Michael Jackson one glove type trademark thing?  What does he sleep and shower with that thing?  Friggin insipid voiced Harry Reid sounding monkey!

I'm just looking to obtain tangible evidence for when they step up to the gallows to be judged.

Hard to make excuses when you have evidence against them, especially with regards to treason
Yeah man....I'm with you on that!

Waking People Up And Getting Them To Realize That The American Dream Is Quickly Becoming The American Nightmare
To Demonize Gun Owners?
By Michael Snyder, on September 30th, 2013

The sculpture of the Knotted Gun at the V & A Waterfront, Cape Town - Photo by Kirsten WilkensThere is an all-out effort to demonize gun owners in the United States today.  Those that own guns are repeatedly portrayed as being uneducated, mentally deficient racists in the mainstream media.  No evidence is ever produced to actually back up those claims.  Gun owners regularly make lists of “potential terrorists” in official government documents, and many government officials openly regard them as ultra-paranoid “conspiracy nuts” that are a serious threat to national security.  Of course the truth is that gun owners are actually among the most law-abiding and patriotic people in the entire nation, but that doesn’t really fit with the radical gun control agenda of the progressive elite.  In order to move their agenda forward, they must make gun owners look bad, and they will go to ridiculous extremes in order to achieve that goal.  And to a certain extent, it is working.  As you will see below, some large financial companies no longer want to conduct business with gun owners, and just the sight of a gun is enough to get people freaking out and calling the police in many communities in America today.
Here is whats coming from the dems.

Hmm. I believe moosed is from Mililani. Check this post from earlier this year. Btw, I too have noticed his absence from the forum.

If nothing else, you now know who NOT to vote for.

Vote for their opponent, even if you don't like him/her.

If you can pull enough votes from the candidate and he gets in by a SLIM margin,

he will Always be looking over his shoulder at the next election.

The more people who contact him after he is elected and voice their Negative opinion of whatever he's doing

will be recorded by his staff.  They do review the stats.

I've been told by people who are "involved" that there are formulas that can tell them how many other voters

that feel the same way per letter, email or call.

Want to get his attention?

Go to his fund raiser wearing "I'm the NRA" button or similar.

Lets him know that We are paying attention to what he does in office.

Want to get him Unelected?

Find others who don't like him.  They may Not have the same thinking as you,

But, you can Unite for the goal of getting votes against him.

In the last legislature, the fact that We were able to submit 100s of testimony Against bad bills

has not gone unnoticed.

Legislature start in mid January.

Let's get started on OUR Pro 2A bills Now.

It can be done.......

The problem is that your questions are too broad and open to interpretation....Take Espero for example. He says he's a gun owner but last time I talked to him he didn't even know where his gun was, let alone shot it recently. He "supports" the Second Amendment but he'll still vote for further restrictions and say it was "reasonable" and "didn't infringe" unduly on gun owner's rights. And then, after voting for those restrictions, someone like yourself will say "I thought you supported the Constitution" and he'll claim he did.....

Neither Hirono, Gabbard or Shatz represent the interests of the people of Hawaii. They represent the interests of Obama.
As for Mazie.. well her too but I don't think shes really brite enough to know where she stands on anything

I don't know, maybe its me or just that I'm from Maui but I'd never heard of Schatz until 07 when Obama was running for office then the next thing you know he's our LG and now our US senator. As far as our Washington representation goes we are in a bad way.
I wish we could just get even some independent minded folks elected instead of the continual rubber stamp go along liberals that keep our state tied down. Why don't they trust private business & entrepreneurs again?
Until that happens our economy will always be at the mercy of tourism and military spending. Hawaii could be such a strong state economically with our location and international appeal. We should be the hub of the Pacific not just a pretty beach.
