My prediction although I might be stating the obvious:
If the suspect is an Obama fanatic or a Muslim, then it will be hushed up quickly.
If the suspect is Caucasian and right leaning in any way, we will never hear he end of how evil gun owners are.

Sounds like from the press conference that no one has definitively concluded whether or not the female was armed or not, or at least nobody is saying if they know.

Female suspect killed by law enforcement. Child in the car safely removed. No word on a possible motive, or if reports of the woman firing/possessing a gun are accurate.
On a potentially related story, President Obama 20 miles away from DC. Instead of working to solve the problem, he is giving speeches in Maryland to demonize Republicans who he says are the problem.

Woman driving her Infiniti tried to breach a temporary barricade and hit a SS agent.
Woman sped away in her Infiniti when officers drew on her.
One SS agent was injured when he got hit by the woman's car.
Another police officer that was injured hurt himself during the chase when he rammed into a barricade.
Woman was not armed, was shot and killed by law enforcement. She "used her vehicle as a weapon".
All shots fired were by law enforcement or secret service.
One year old in the back of the car was unhurt.
Tragic.

The chase began about 2:15 p.m. at a White House security checkpoint, where the woman struck a barrier and a Secret Service officer with her black Infiniti. The woman fled that fortified icon and headed straight for another: the Capitol.

Yet another example of preventable tragedy.
Tens of thousands of FATALITIES are caused every year by automobiles.
This does not even include the countless injuries and senseless street violence happening all over the nation.
Licensing is not working.
We need to ban all automobiles.
If we get the automobiles off the streets, there will be no more automobile deaths.
It's basic logic. Even a child can see.
NO CARS. NO DEATHS.
This is not even protected by the Constitution so there is NO EXCUSE.
Let's make it happen.

Logical follow-on to that .... only law enforcement and military need vehicles that exceed moped and golf cart speeds. Why do you need to drive at 50+ MPH and burn all that fossil fuel? Drive at 10 MPH, use peddle power, get exercise, and enjoy the 3 hour ride to downtown!!

Woman shot was a black dental hygienist. The woman supposedly had some history with mental illness. There was something having fallen and sustaining significant head injury. Truly tragic... Now the world welcomes another parentless child.
Hmmm... I wonder if it's going to become a race issue now?

Yes, civilians have no need for motorized transport.
They have legs. They can walk.
Only security personnel need to be able to get to the scene of an "incident" quickly.
If they really need some kind of transport vehicle, they can get licensed for pedal-action transport (per the maximum allowable wheel size and gear ratio of their State).
This not only saves lives, it reduces global warming and our dependence on foreign crude supplies.
It also boosts the local economy due to higher consumption of carbohydrates. Thus, it grows jobs on farm and non-farm payrolls.
This is what America is all about isn't it? Jobs!
If you do not stand against automobiles, then you do not stand for America.

What brand of AR-15 Fully Automatic Assault Rifle did she use? Infinity?

Clearly these types of assault vehicles should not be available to the general public.
These dangerous cars can reach speeds of over 100 miles an hour and even have speedometers that go up to 120 MPH.
This is excessive and un necessary since there is no place where they can be legally driven at that speed. Obviously only law enforcement should have such vehicles.
Why should the average person need anything more than a Prius, Leaf or a bicycle anyway?
They need to begin legislation to ban these high speed assault style sport vehicles immediately before more innocent people are victims.
Please Sen Reed, Schumer & DWS don't let the opportunity this tragedy has provided go to waste. You have the Presidents support. Think of the children.

This is good common sense automobile legislation that is supported by 90% of the American people. Why can't we make it happen? It is a sad day.........

As an avid daily driver I can see a place for automobiles in the hands of legitimate drivers in the general public. I drive often, daily even and sometimes on weekends and my family has a long rich history of driving. That said there is no place for these dangerous kinds of cars for basic transportation.
We all can get where we need to go with ease in vehicles that are limited to say 40 MPH. This is just common sense.
My wife was thinking about getting a car a few years ago but I reminded her that she would be more than happy with taking the bus

Car driver apparently suffered from emotional issues. Hot tempered, single mom, pregnant, lost her job, previous head injury, postpartum depression. I wonder what kind of medicine she might have been taking.

OK back to assault vehicles, perhaps only SPORT UTILITY VEHICLES should be allowed, and only if the engine is removed, and a SAFETY LOCK is put in place so that nobody can ever start the car without answering 20 questions from the on-board computer, AND the gas tank limited to 10 fluid ounces.
