Me, some 45/9mm ammo and a benchmade knife.
The samurai swords looked really cool and expensive, the guy said some range over 500 thousand and above.
Me personally I was looking for a hattori hanzo (kill bill)
-
I left with a $5 "coupon" (ticket stub) that I immediately used at OGC for a new Sig magazine!
-
Got some AE .308 ammo, used tactical light then used the $5 discount on p-mags at OGC. Most of my friends bought 5.56 ammo by the cases.
-
22LR from S.E. & used my $5 discount ticket from the show at OGC to pick up a 10 round mag for my S&W 15-22. Was kool to see & talk stories with some of u 2A members there also :shaka:

Yeah it was good to see 2a members but I was a lil too late for the 22 ammo.

Did S.E. actually run out of 22LR? when I left around 1:30pm they still had quite a bunch left.
-
Didn't have time to get on Security Equipment's snaking line for the ammo sale.
Ended up picking up a toy M-60 and toy AK-47 for my son. :)

Had a very enjoyable father-and-son time with my son today.

Didn't have a chance to look thoroughly at the gun show but did anyone find any 45ACP ammo deals this weekend?
-
.
-
There was handgun ammo around here and there.
I think YG had some
-
I never bought anything. Only went to hang out. I went to get new tires for my bike after.
-
Ran into some old friends that I haven't seen in awhile and joined the Puuloa Rifle & Pistol Club, so that made the trip worth it. Was SEC selling ammo in 7.62x51 in ammo cans? What was it and how much? I couldn't see myself standing in that ammo line so I was just wondering.
Picked up some patches from Mojo
The Thunder Cats patch is for a good friend.

-
Bought a .38 target pistol, 2 Randall knives and some 30-06 ammo for my Garands.
Can't hardly wait for tomorrow morning!
-
ammo can 22lr, some random cheapo bags and a used dremel. I was going to get the custom ear plugs but they took forever to call me back and I had to leave.
-
Picked up AE 308 FMJ and 168gr Gold Medal for amazing prices at Young Guns! I should have bought more boxes.

Love the patches!

Anyone pick up any firearms?
-
I didn't get anything
-
Stood in the snaking SEC line for almost 1 hour. Got the 5bxs of Federal 22lr w/ammo can. I was also going to get some AE .308 but luckily I opted and saw that YG had a better/cheaper deal.
-
A box of .457 balls for my Ruger Old Army, some 9mm NATO ammo, and a Finn Mosin-Nagant. Lots of Mosin-Nagants at the show.
-
Brought cash to pick up a new or decent used s&w 686, Ruger GP100 or Security Six (.357) but saw none. :( Left with a handful of $1 brass brushes and enbloc clips for my Garand.
-
40 cal mont.gold heads from shootingsolutionshi
-
some boxes of 5.7x28 for $21.99 & some 168gr gold match 308, both at YG booth. less than 1 minute wait.
-
Got some 9mm from YG, a few non related gun items and a maxpedition micro edc organizer. As a whole I though the gun shows in the past and even the one at the beginning of the year during the panic had better selection. Was pretty disappointed this time. The SEC line was ridiculous too! But not too bad prices.
-
Didn't have a chance to look thoroughly at the gun show but did anyone find any 45ACP ammo deals this weekend?
found old usgi "match" $15 a box :geekdanc: it wasnt from a major seller though it was on a table with various old hunting ammo and used stuff.

did you get that $250 finn with the crusty bore? i was real tempted but the guy didnt have any info on it for me besides "it needs a cleaning" only after i took out the bolt and looked down the bore.
either way post a pic!

Yes. I'm gambling that it's grease. The rest of it looked great. I won't know for a couple weeks because I let my gun permit lapse and have to renew.
-
1 can Ballistol :(
-
Went to buy a case 556 but ended up not buying anything. The way the market is going I think prices are gonna drop to last years pre panic times.
-
Hey AKfourtyseven how much was the 100 round mag?
-
picked it up for 140$
-
Picked up a few hundred rounds of 5.56 and my daughter got some paracord. Almost bought a bunch of steel case 5.56, but couldn't bring myself to do it. I went with my gut and got ammo from SEC. I was looking for a deal on bull barrel 10/22,but nothing.
Next to SECs ammo deals, the next best thing seemed to cash in your ticket for $5 bucks off at OGC.
Was it me or was everyone and their mother selling brass? Even the paracord lady had bags of 9mm brass in-between her cord and some kid stuff.
Seems like everyone turned into brass vultures for a quick buck and most were stuck with it.... ha, ha
-
Picked up Federal 22lr w/ ammo can from SEC, 10:30 am, no line. 30 cans left at time.
Also purchased a SOG Trident knife, tiger striped blade.

that is a fantastic idea. you know, the one about posting on a gun website which is patrolled by HPD about committing felonies... I'm sure they don't have any clue on how to trace your IP addy and kick down your door doing a no knock visit since they know you probably have guns in which case if you do happen to have one and try to defend yourself, they will put a few rounds in to you...
I'm also sure if they do find your auto/otf knifes, they will allow you to keep and collect more guns after they convict you of a felony and that you wont spend any time in prison getting buttf*cked by bigger guys then you...
 Oh wait, we live in Hawaii...
See people, this is why the internet is a dangerous thing; especially to stupid people. Stupid people should not have guns though so perhaps its a good thing. :shake: You don't have to be civil and you can be down right mean on the internet but you should at least try to Stay Legal. I mean post like this are nearly as smart as posting on the internet videos of you attacked an Asian couple with their kid with your motorcycle gang...

So you believe that that HPD is going to kick down someone's door because someone using a madeup user name said they bought some auto knives online?
I wish they'd kick down my door because they believe that an IP address in my house is associated with my.
That's what they call circumstantial.
If they did kick down someone's door because of a statement that they have no idea who typed on a website, the lawsuit would be like winning the lottery.
For example: "Every single unsolved murder in the United States was committed by me."
I'll be waiting with my lawyer at the door now.

I guess vendor who sold me SOG Trident did'nt realize it was illegal. Per HRS below, even an assist opener is prohibited.
Oh shit, got to turn my stuff into HPD! My bad being ignorant to Hawaii's knife laws!
§134-52 Switchblade knives; prohibitions; penalty.
(a) Whoever knowingly manufactures, sells, transfers,
possesses, or transports in the State any switchblade
knife, being any knife having a blade which opens
automatically (1) by hand pressure applied to a button
or other device in the handle of the knife, or
(2) by operation of inertia, gravity, or both, shall be
guilty of a misdemeanor.
(b) Whoever knowingly possesses or intentionally uses
or threatens to use a switchblade knife while engaged in
the commission of a crime shall be guilty of a class C felony.

I wasn't able to attend the gun show because I was out of town, but I had one of the instructors pick up the new book on Hawaii Firearms Laws by Rocky Davis. What ever you do, DO NOT BUY this book. It is a piece of crap where this probable poser just reprinted the HRS statues word for word. There is at most 2 pages (and I think that's a generous estimate...) of any original writing. He neither goes into any detail about the laws or some of the "arguments" about different interpretations. He even goes so far as to say that in regards to reckless endangerment (in relation to a "gun" issue) that you'll get a more severe judgement if you used a semi-automatic firearm and that's why it was better to have a revolver.
I spent less than 10 minutes scanning the book and ended up with like 10 post-its noting errors or misinformation. I might as well have wadded up a $20 and threw it away.
-
Yeah, when I saw the booth, I was thinking why not just read the HRS?
