The boxes are almost half the size of normal ammo boxes.

If it is half the size, what is your interpretation of a normal ammo box???

Good question. I should have measured it.

Edit: used Google and it's 11.625'' x 5.125'' x H 7.125''

Pearl City by the tools section. They said it's their 2nd shipment and the 1st went pretty fast.

The pistol case looks nice.
The plastic ammo box is promising but it is like the skinny GI ammo boxes, not the typical  "50 cal" GI boxes we know and love.
Too bad City Mill closed the Waipahu store.
