This guy is unbelievable...
Let's dissect his direct quote, above.
1. First and foremost, he is not apologizing for his past actions or statements.. He might be lamenting, or trying to commiserate with people who, "are finding themselves in this situation," but in no way is he apologizing for his patently false previous statements.
2. What is this "situation" that people are now "finding themselves in"? Simply put, it may very well be one of the gravest of situations... the possibility of losing your (and your family's) healthcare insurance.
3. His statement that people are "finding themselves in this situation based on assurances they got from me," is disingenuous and implies that these people share in some of the blame for their current "situations."
The sad thing is that people are eating this crap up and saying things like, "Well, he apologized, so let's forgive him and move forward."
I'd at least respect the guy if he manned-up, took ownership of his past actions/statements, and issued a direct apology for lying to the American people.

When he first came on the scene I was like ok. Boy grew up in Hawaii
And made it. But as I looked into his past I was like wait a minute.
Pissed off a lot of my friends. Who still mad at me today. Now that I rub it in.

It's illegal to lie to Congress or a law enforcement investigator.
It's not illegal for a public employee to lie to the public. Call them politicians if you want, but once they are elected to office, they are tax-payer-funded employees.
Lying to one's employer should have only one outcome...

I almost fell out of my chair early this AM when my local PBS station led its hourly news break with "President Obama appears to be directing attention away from his problems today during his radio program by emphasizing the progress made with jobs...."
Or words to that effect. Just like that. Right off the bat!
Now wait a minute! This is PBS? One of the most liberally-biased organizations in the country is reporting that he is actually trying to direct attention away from the problems? As the news lead?
I must be reading too much into this.
