I'm trying to find the correct size to order. Do I get a ruler, face the eye piece, then measure from the outside of the tube from the left to the right? How does one measure .x something? Ex. 42.2 vs. 42.5?
This is their sizing chart

I struggled with that.
I ended up taking my scopes into Young Guns and having them fit them in the store.
They only didn't have 1 I needed in stock. ( 15 Obj. )
Order me one if you're ordering and I'll buy it from you. :shaka: (it's not enough to get free super saver shipping )

If you're trying to find the ocular and objective diameters, why not use the scope manufacturers specs?
-
Cause they are not very specific like Butler Creek. One of my scopes says objective is 50mm. Butler Creek has 49.8 and 50.7. Which one is it? They also don't list the eye piece size.

Gotcha, I see what you're saying. My scope had a manual that listed all the dimensions of the scope, including the outside dimensions of the objective bell and eyepiece so I just went with that. But it sounds like you have access to a caliper so that's the way to go.

Does this look correct?
