Another way to add a rail to a 1911....

They look cool. I've  seen some YouTube vids on these rail add ons, and it performed rather well being on a race gun. But the first thing I would do is stipple the grips area. But an awesome product.

I guess it has its uses but it reminded me of something hnl.flyboy said in another thread...

innovative but kinda' tapco-ish and seems to add plenty bulk?  will wait for user reports.  have railed gun anyways.
