Spent some time with a good friend last night, a long time local contractor. As we were talking about Knudsen, the magic bullet finder, he dug around a drawer and plopped a .45ACP bullet in my hand. I thought it was something he had fired at some point but it wasn't, it was found on the roof of a building he working way out in west Oahu. It was fired, complete with rifling and some damage from the asphalt shingle it hit before coming to rest in a gutter. The incident was over a decade old, reported, but that's about it... No media on that one ;)
No soap box here, not really trying to do anything but inform with this post except for one thing; and this is aimed at the "new" single post type folks we've seen around here lately... Not every "found" bullet originates from KHSC.
