Has anyone owned a Para Ordnance 1911? I have heard good things so far, but thought I'd ask on here for owners opinions. Looking at Para's 1911 black ops recon. http://para-usa.com/2013/firearms/tactical/recon.php (http://para-usa.com/2013/firearms/tactical/recon.php)
Its has basically what I want in a 45. ACP pistol (1911, with low profile, no chrome, all black, with large ammo capacity ) just don't know too much about the company. thought about a kimber but they are usually $500 more.

if you thought about a kimber you should have stopped there. Some of the best pistols. But that para shucks that is one nice piece of equipment. Plus it already comes with some desired features out the box and for the price looks good. I have never seen or held one my only concern would be how it felt in my hands due to the hi capacity mags and and maybe how fat the grip was.
