Title: Great news, Schatz is rated (with Schumer) as the most liberal senator

Are we screwed, or what?  Knowing how stupid the average Hawaiian voter is, he probably will have little trouble staying there and continuing the destruction.

Never, ever, thought I'd ever say I'm really looking hard at living in another state.

I'm with you Q. I'm hoping GOP takes the majority and we can load up BEFORE the next disaster.

Hello Democratic party, wake up, the Socialists/Communists have taken over your party.  Shit, I even know someone who publicly stated they're proud to be Progressive because it makes them feel diverse and international.  Put that in your pipe and smoke it for awhile.  Now that the trainwreck of Obamacare is fully in progress they've been pretty quiet.  Please wake up.  That goes for the Republicrat party too.  You are all on notice now.

Always thought these two looked alike.  One is a Senator and the other a Senator's son, but both are yellow bastards.

The GOP retakes the Senate and then what? We'll be stuck with a do-nothing pussy like McConnell as majority leader. And you have other useless turds like Cornyn waiting in the wings.

And even if the GOP do manage to not fuck it up and win the Senate and retain the House, our state will still be run by a bunch of liberal shitheads.

The only chance of there being any kind of substantial change would be to elect libertarians. The only problems: 1. Ain't gonna happen. The "system" is "rigged" to assure that the two almost-the-same parties will always have control, and 2. It seems that politicians tend to become "corrupted" by "special interests" (who provide funding to assure re-election) so that even if libertarians did get elected, eventually...  :( >:(

Aren't Hanabusa and Schatz fighting for the dem. spot?  Let's see which group will win this; the racists/sexists (Asian female trumps all - I remember someone here mentioned they spoke to a neighbor or something who mentioned this is how they voted), or the slightly-less than communist statists.

I just sent an email to the leading Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate seat for Hawaii asking for positions on a number of issues including some Second Amendment issues for Hawaii. There is a website, but it has very limited information.

http://www.camcavassoforsenate.com/ (http://www.camcavassoforsenate.com/)

He lost twice to Inouye, both times by margins of 76% to 21%.

At this point it appears that there are a number of Libertarian Party candidates running for state senate and house positons, as well as governor and one U.S. House position, but nothing re a U.S. Senate candidate.

We need to really get this jack ass out.

http://www.tpnn.com/2014/05/28/democrat-senators-call-for-pay-raise-for-all-federal-government-workers-theyve-paid-the-heaviest-price/ (http://www.tpnn.com/2014/05/28/democrat-senators-call-for-pay-raise-for-all-federal-government-workers-theyve-paid-the-heaviest-price/)

Every week on the way to the range I drive down Kalanianaole Hwy.
Lots of my friends yards HAD Schatz signs posted.  If you notice lately lots of them are gone.
I went to my friends houses and told them about Schatz! and they took the signs down from their property.

I told them tell their neighbors also what this clown is about!

The fewer signs I see for any of these fascist idiots candidates the better for my blood pressure. BUT, given the overwhelming number of ignorant uninformed Democratic voters in Hawaii, this race for our United States Senator comes down to Schatz or HanabUSA (sic). Because Schatz has the backing of the mob gang Democratic party, and the crime lords leaders Obama, and Abercrombie, and thus FIVE TIMES as much money as HanabUSA, I'm guessing short of molester proof (and even then...) he's gonna be going to Washington for six friggin' years to not represent me. It makes me sick. Literally. HanabUSA would be no better. The fascist Republican candidates aren't much better. Will I ever see a sign for, or a candidate for a major office that supports individual freedom (aka "Libertarian") and actually has a chance to win? In Hawaii: not in my lifetime ever.

I would really like someone to go to one of his Town Hall meetings and ask,

1.  given the comments you espouse on gun control in your campaign ads, and
2.  in the aftermath of the California mass murders (half killed by knives, the other half by shootings) near a college campus,
3.  Let's fast forward a few  years where YOUR CHILDREN are attending that same school....

A - How do you define the violence problem in the US?  Is it really about guns, or is it about mental health?
B - What SPECIFIC LEGISLATION would you demand for stricter gun control?
C - How would those new laws prevent or deter what happened at the college Memorial Day weekend?
D - With over 250,000 Americans defending themselves annually with guns, won't reducing the number of legal gun owners put more people at higher risk of significant injury or death than the 5000-6000 per year murder with guns in the US?
E - Do you admit banning all guns will solve nothing, just like making narcotics today and alcohol illegal during prohibition has failed to stop use of those products?
F - If your children were being threatened by a man with a gun, would you rather have a phone to call 911 and wait for police, or have a gun you are trained to use on your person?
G - Do you believe the right to own and carry firearms is an individual right, or should only law enforcement, military, and government security details carry firearms?
