I found this online, is it something useful to help with consistent drop weight or just a gimmick?

I've had good results with Reloder 15 by doing this:

Nice. My powder tube is 'welded' to the powder measurer. Well more like it just does not want to come off even after removing the screws. Got any tips to remove/pry it free with out major damage to anything?

I like the dial to set the powder weight, looks precise. I just got a plastic knob type dial that facilitates (easy to turn by hand) setting drop weight but does not look as precise as the one pictured in the thread post you linked.

The powder bar micrometer is a must buy for your Dillon.  Purchase from Uniquetek http://www.uniquetek.com/site/696296/page/45031 (http://www.uniquetek.com/site/696296/page/45031)  It is a no brainer and you will wonder why you did not purchase it sooner. 

I purchased one each for the large and small bars.  I can dial back to any charge I have set up before.  They even send you an Excel spreadsheet to graph the settings for each powder you use so you can dial right into any powder charge without the trial & error method with the stupid bolt (stupid cause it provides no information).  Saves choke time when you are working up loads.

Then, you can purchase the Whidden Gunworks CNC machined toolheads or even their floating die toolheads.

Uniquetek has other cool gadgets on their website to separate you from your $$$ . . . proceed with caution.   :shake:
