Has anyone ordered high cap magazines online? If so were? Is it okay to order hi-cap rifle magazines online?
Mahalo.

Cdnn usually has good deals. Ordering down here could land you in legal trouble though, so I'd avoid it.

There are high cap rifle mags for sale at every gun store on Oahu......why pay shipping?
-
No reason to pay extra shipping to break the laws :P just get them from the gun stores!

Usually works out much cheaper to buy hi-cap (rifle) mags on-line. Many if not most places will sell +10 rifle mags but not pistol mags. I know CDNN will not sell you a pistol with hi-cap mags, but I don't know their policy about rifle mags as I've never bought one from them. I have bought several low-cap pistol mags from them and they usually have the best deals. I will say you are treading dangerous legal waters when buying hi-cap rifle mags for certain types of rifles, but I personally am not worried about buying a hi-cap for say an FNAR, despite the anal whinging of certain folks on this forum, nor do I see it being any more of a legal risk than buying them locally. That said (and I can't stress this enough) is merely my opinion as I read the law, and I am by no means a lawyer who will timidly cover his ass in every case because he knows the language of the law can be twisted to mean anything.

Hahaha, tundah, I like the legalese disclaimer.

I know that you can get Magpul PMAGS here on the island for 13$ a piece. I do not think you can beat that price with shipping off the net.
There are ways around the "wont ship it to Hawaii" BS that these companies give you...pm if you want to know.

I get my standard-capacity PMAGS online all the time. Some sites will ship and some won't!

Akoha Guys,
There is a company called 44mag.com that will ship high cap rifle and pistol mags to all the banned states. They have a parts kits option for use that makes it legal by taking it apart so that it is within the law...I have ordered a lot from them and they ship really fast...Hope this helps...Kipa

44mag.com will disassemble any magazine for a fee and ship to you. An assembled magazine may be illegal, but individual parts are not.
-
A .99 cent fee which is great.......get um while you still can.

44mag.com is okay, but I don't see the point of paying extra to have them disassemble and toss the parts in a bag. Try Gunclip Depot (gunclips.net). Both have good prices and use USPS, so it won't cost your left nut to ship.

The laws on Hi cap mags is a very touchy, confusing, and scary subject.
If they are or are not legal is open to interpretation, by whom ever may find you in possession of said items.
I'd be careful of doing anything of what is being discussed here.
Not scolding anyone or anything, just be aware, and discrete.
Stay out of trouble. :shaka:

just FYI, Magpul now offers 5 and 10 round "limiters" for existing 20/30 round pmags.

I agree HEAVIES, maybe there is a little too much (ammo) information for the anti gun wanderer's ;)

^^^ Agreed, IMO it's time to pull the plug on this thread. Don't think it's prudent to be openly giving advice on how to circumvent our stupid gun laws. :closed:
