Title: NRA/CMP Regional Pistol Match at KHSC 5-6 April 2014

The Chinese Gun Club of Honolulu sponsored Regional Pistol Match is this weekend, April 5-6, 2014. 

*2700 (or part)
*EIC Pistol Match
*Distinguished Revolver Match

Army Regulation 350-66 applies to Soldiers trying to Excellence in Competition Medals and Distinguished Pistol Shot Badges.

Please let Russell Takata know at your earliest convenience if you intend to compete. Russell.takata@yahoo.com

Per the reg, practice for or participation in marksmanship competitions are considered training. Make a memo thru the command, cite the reg, list the participants, sign digitally and send by email for approval.

Or you can let the Marines or Army Reserve try to muster enough shooters to hold a match.

What time does it start? I would like to watch. I'm not good enough to compete.

8:00 is the normal registration time.
It's easy to get good enough to compete. Read the rulebook, get guns, ammo, spotting scope, learn to shoot with one hand, and be safe.
Being good enough to win is the real trick.

I got 1st leather at pacdivs this year.  I'm looking for a 1911 right now.

Email Russel Takata and ask him to arrange for 1911 or M9 for the EIC leg. They are always looking for shooters on Sunday morning to make the leg count numbers. $5 for military competitors.
