For about half to more than a third of the price of full high caliber rifles you can just purchase an upper for an AR-15 lower. You can get it in .50 BMG, .416 Barrett, .338 Lapua, or .408 CheyTac. You can also choose multiple barrels made out of different materials and lengths. You can also choose the muzzle brake of your choice. I was going to get a Desert Tactical but after KH was limited and Schofield and Puuloa was not open that much for long range shooting I decided to get other firearms instead. But now with the cost being so cheap in comparison I can think about getting one again. Anyone heard anything about this or tried it out? Is it worth the money?

Yup I sell those ZEL CUSTOMS T1 and T2's. They are a good alternative to a Barrett. I always talk the customers into buying the Lothar-Walther barrels
and of course the wait time....took a year to get the T2 in 50

Yup speed is correct you want the lothar barrels . Lothar makes the barrels for Desert Tech especially the HTI system
