Why is the Pentagon destroying perfectly good ammo while DHS requisitions $B of ammo?

Since the ammo was paid for by taxpayer dollars, we should contact the Pentagon to donate it to the upcoming SSF.   I'm sure we'd all be happy to help them destroy the ammo one bullet at a time. :)

No wonder I got that email about using up live TOW missiles before the end of the fiscal year.
