Just about the same rate of fire as the M2, maybe a bit quicker.

Has to be a load shooting that beast offhand.  The loaded magazine probably weighs more than some complete .22 rifles.

I loved that reloading technique.   Gases go back in the barrel, bullet goes back in, case jumps back in the chamber, bolt slams shut and resizes the case and seats the bullet, and the reloaded cartridge snaps right back in the magazine ready to go.
