The Sign Is Clear: ‘No Weapons, No Concealed Firearms’ — Why Didn’t These Three Thugs Obey Gun-Free Zone?
Despite a sign posted outside designating the business a so-called “gun-free zone,” three thugs reportedly assaulted restaurant employees during a robbery attempt in Durham, North Carolina, earlier this week.
At around 9 p.m. on Sunday, three men wearing hoodies and armed with handguns invaded a newly-opened barbecue restaurant in Durham through the back door, according to police. The thugs reportedly forced employees to the ground, assaulting two of them. Thankfully, they were not seriously injured.

A sign is an inanimate object, as is a firearm.
Add the human factor and stupid happens.

GreenStomper, as much as we try, we just cant fix stupid. We the 2@ community MUST come up with common sense solutions that will solve these kinds of problems. I happen to have one. Arm ALL able bodied men and women who can legally carry a firearm. Train them equal to, or better than HPD or law enforcement. Allow these legally armed citizens to go about their bidness and defend themselves as they see fit. As free men should. Something our elected officials refuse to acknowledge or deal with. I know this is not original. But I just couldnt help myself. Keep your firearm clean and yourself trained.

Sounds like an ambitious plan.
I do agree than an armed society is a civil one.
And a sign, registration,magazine bans, more laws (restrictions) will not keep guns off the streets.
It's kinda hard to keep a positive perspective.
Good thing we have support groups such as this forum.
