starts today
I'm really a Knicks fan, but since they suck this year (except Carmello), i guess I'm going with the Spurs
since Lebron and the Heat have been a thorn in the Knicks side for the past few years, I've grown to hate them.
not unlike Jordan and Bulls in his day as he was a thorn in the side of NY back then too.
Lebron is a great player, I've just learned to route for whoever he's playing.
Let the trash talking begin! :shaka:

I really hope the Spurs pull it off this year, they should've won last year. They're my favorite team, I like how humble and well coached they are. I got to take a picture with Tim Duncan at the SEMA show a few years ago, they were having a hard time fitting him in, I think it was Tanner Foust's Ford Fiesta rally-x car, lol. After he was just cruising in a t-shirt and cargo pants like a regular guy and I asked to take a pic with him and he said no problem. Super nice guy, first time I ever really felt like a midget  then again, most people are next to a 7 footer.

Cheering for Tim and the SPURS. Hope they win this year but the Heats are gonna be a tough opponent!

Mario Chalmers is a dirty player
I lost all respect for Duane Wade, he's dirty too.
I dont mind if you play hard and try to win, just dont cheat and lie about it.

great discussion by the commentators
would you prefer to play against lebron james, or not?
me, i'd rather win

yup, a win is a win.
i love it when the Heat lose, and Lebron is watching on the bench or in the locker room.
i thought he was Superman.
Superman doesn't have muscle cramps.
haha! I love it! :shaka:

I absolutely hate the heat and LeWhiner James.
I thoroughly enjoy watching the stupid tantrums he throws any time a call doesn't go his way.
SPURS ALL THE WAY
-
The Heats overheated!!!! :geekdanc:
-
That's one game I'm glad I wasn't there for in person. 90+ degrees with all those people? Nasty.
-
Yeah. Even Lebron couldn't handle the heat!
Badum tss!

Same like inside my room when we lose the tradewinds, minus all the other people, lol.

Love the spurs but I smell a 3 peat. James is to good. He looked bad in game one but took over in game 2. Best player in the league today hands down.

The Spurs are my team but facts are facts. Spurs can win if they play as a cohesive unit and move the ball around and find the open man, AND they have to make the shots though. LeBron is a freak of nature and can be a one man team, playing pretty much any position from point to center, so even if the rest of the Heat are playing like crap they still have a chance, whereas if the Spurs aren't playing well, they don't have anyone that can just take over a game like LeBron can.
That being said, Go Spurs Go! O0

Lebron is the best basketball player on the planet
same way as Mike Tyson is the baddest man on the planet
media marketing. ;)
the Spurs will be LBJ's Buster Douglas.
Tyson got beat when he was unbeatable
Spurs need to even the playing field.
need more flopping and cheating
-
that was a huge win.
on the Heat's home court.
:geekdanc: :geekdanc: :geekdanc:

Spurs looked real good today.
-
another great game
towards the end, looked like the Heat gave up hope, not even trying.
i like that.
-
Awesome!
Tim Duncan has now taken #1 spot to surpass Magic Johnson for the most double-doubles in the playoffs, as well as taken #1 spot to surpass Kareem Abdul-Jabaar for the most total minutes played.
The Spurs have a chance to win the championship at home court too!

The Spurs define what teamwork means.
The heat on the other hand are a bunch of egomaniacs that have no idea what it means to truly be a team.
When the Spurs win this championship series, the heat will fall apart and blame the refs, the weather, the crowd, the stars, the alignment of the planets and everything else.
-
A well deserved championship win!!!
Nice to see Heats eat some humble pie.
-
Well deserved win!
Spurs are an awesome team

I hate to see a grown man cry.
unless its Lebron James. :geekdanc: :D

Couldn't happen to a more deserving person. I only hope that James never gets another championship ring and his boast of getting "five or six" haunts him forever.
Congrats to the Spurs for having a balanced team of players focused on winning via teamwork regardless of who gets the accolades or high point total.
That first half of game 3 is worth watching again. Those guys were on fire! :geekdanc:

Even in the post championship interviews, the Heat still keep talking about their "big 3". What about everyone else on your team, do they mean nothing? ::)
The Spurs have proved that their "whole" is greater than the sum of their parts and through longevity with your coaches and fellow players you can beat anyone.
