I bought a really cheap compact SLIK bench bipod and it sucks. It shakes like crazy even after I put lead in the legs. Today I tried our friends one that is about 15yrs old, all metal, and it's great. You can adjust the vertical tilt by turning a knob. I'm looking for a bench rest and a regular tall one. If there is one that can do both that would be great. What do you recommend?
Mine. Trust me I have videos way shakier than this but I thought this was funny.

i made my own and it's super stable. it cost me about $3 in hardware. the wood was scrap 2x4, and some old pine board.
how did you take the video with your scope?

I'm using Phone Skope. It's also easier to see with. http://www.phoneskope.com/ (http://www.phoneskope.com/)

I use a Ray Vin

The trick to reduce wobbles is the diameter of the pole ... wider there is less movement.

I just ordered this from Sinclair, which is a division of Brownells.
I like the build on this scope stand.

I saw that and was thinking about getting one. But first I'm going to try this and see how it goes from the side or back since I always have a spotter. I'm going to get the 3 piece model. He also said he's making a clamp on style.
