Title: Mediocre service from Cold Hand Arms
Post by: 2aHawaii on June 03, 2011, 03:25:52 PM
This is in contrast to my JSE Surplus review (http://2ahawaii.com/index.php?topic=1518.0).

Cold Hand Arms (http://www.coldhandarms.com). At least they have a cool name.

I ordered a Del-Ton rifle kit through Cold Hand Arms because they had a better price than Del-Ton and they were in stock. I thought....Score. It was, but there were some drawbacks. I saw that they listed their shipping times as 2-4 business days after the order. Okay, so that's what I was expecting. I waited a week for a change in status and it was reporting that it still hadn't shipped yet. I called the shop and they assured me that I was on the top of the list and it'd be shipped out the next day and would get a notice from UPS when it did. Another six days go by and still nothing has changed. I call them back up and got who must have been the owner. He notified me that they were expecting more of the kits in but didn't receive them on schedule and that's they hadn't arrived. He said they'd pull one from stock they normally keep for the B&M store and ship it out right away. It turns out that was the last time I had to contact them. They shipped it out that night.

Take it for what it's worth. I'm sure they don't make much, if any, money on the kits, so I'm sure I wasn't their highest priority. But customer service starts with the smallest customer.

P.S. They do have some cool looking parties with MGs :)

I agree.

I went to cold hands massage parlor the other day and had the worst service.

What's up with those cold hands?  >:D

Just kidding, but what if there was a "cold hands massage parlor"?

Would you go there?
