Worth watching.  Great job by the mayor and the citizen.

More elected officials need to understand this.

I think the next time the council meets, they should schedule some important voting.

They should have the same CCW holder attend and present him some sort of letter of appreciation for his service.

Seeing there is a "gun in the room," if the jerk leaves the meeting again, the votes can be cast without his participation!!

yes, great job by the mayor and citizen.

shame on those council members that voted for something that was not lawful.
merely choosing to enforce their own beliefs on others.

Far too many elected officials these days ignoring and overstepping the oath they take.  Again ill mention,  with no real consequence for their actions.

A motion set forth by a council member and then derailed by a vote by the council membership. What does this clown do, he takes his ball and goes home. Is that the kind of leadership public officials should adhere too? In life not all things will go your way but to run home like a six year old child…pathetic.

Mayor Scott Dudley spoke eloquently on behalf of the obligations of the council in regards to our nations constitution and for theirs states constitution as well. Mayor Dudley's comments should be played now-and-again for our elected officials as a reminder of their real purpose of holding public office.

Mayor Scott Dudley for President  or at least an individual that holds our constitution with high regard. Imagine that!

Yep.  When they get their way and Conservatives complain, they say, "Deal with it."

When they don't get their way, they protest.  Leaving was his way of saying, "I will not accept the decision of the majority.  I leave in protest."

While it's sickening to watch 2 people try to vote down someone's God given and Constitutionally protected rights, it was also inspiring that the rest of the council didn't allow themselves to be bullied by someone trying to force a "politically correct" anti-gun ideology on them.

When only two hands were raised for the "Yay" votes, I was almost surprised.  Guess that comes from watching our DC law makers in action!
