Title: Gun control advocates latest campaign - domestic violence

This campaign can easily be flipped on them where domestic violence victims can be empowered if they were granted a gun.
But it seems that our society prefers to be sheep herded and protected by the govt.

It's already back-fired in the MSM.

‘The View’ Goes Pro-Gun (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jgCeqbco4Ak#ws)

The View? Doesn't get much more mainstream than that. This is what empowerment looks like.

I suspect there are many more women out there that are interested, but either they're afraid because 'gun culture' is male-dominated (which is true), or simply because they consider themselves not good with mechanical things and find it scary if they don't understand it (a stereotype that many women hold of themselves, unfortunately).

Bloomberg's campaign is ultimately misogynistic. It portrays women as weak and incapable of defending themselves; a slave to a state who likely cannot defend them when they need defense. Women can defend themselves and with training builds confidence as they understand how firearms work.

This is an easy fix. Take them shooting, have them take a course.

Here's the Moms Demand Action Blah Blah Blah video advertisement that ostensibly supports the proposed legislation re "intimate partner violence" and "stalking" (be sure to read the definition of stalking*):https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SUAL6ie1ufc&list=UU9DYEsJYoyw8UtWY5ALY7iw (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SUAL6ie1ufc&list=UU9DYEsJYoyw8UtWY5ALY7iw)

Comments disabled, of course. Summary: Man pounding on door, woman and child inside, she call 911 to report "ex" breaking in, and is asked (really?) by the 911 operator if she has a restraining order, woman answers "yes". [They must have edited out the part where the 911 operator then responds, "Well, then he shouldn't be doing that".] Man breaks through door, grabs child, pulls gun and points it at woman, scene fades to black as gunshot is heard. I'd think that's an advertisement for women arming themselves, as clearly 911 and law enforcement and the judicial system are woefully inadequate to protect people in most, or nearly all (99.99%?), such circumstances. But no, these morons people want another set of laws that would prevent this guy from doing what he was doing which was already illegal according to already existing laws. But I'm sure if they had one more set of laws to prohibit him from doing what he did he definitely would not break THOSE laws. Sure. Idiots. Ironically, these people lack the capacity for "common sense", a term that is a mantra for them.

*From Sen. Amy Klobucher’s “Protecting Domestic Violence and Stalking Victims Act.” From a letter sent out by the NRA: ""Under federal law, for example, stalking includes 'a course of conduct' that never involves any personal contact whatsoever, occurs wholly through the mail, online media, or telephone service, is undertaken with the intent to 'harass' and would be reasonably expected to cause (even if it doesn't succeed in causing) 'substantial emotional distress' to another person," the letter warns." So if you leave a comment on a website or blog or tweet that someone is a moron or idiot... you might be "stalking". Now THAT'S "common sense"!

Someone edited together some elements of the "wrong girl" Glock commercial and the Everytown failed-propaganda video to produce a different outcome:

As usual, the liberal anti-gun wakkos can't win their unwinnable argument,  so they shut down this vid.  Lose money...  :(

The timing on the release of this Everytown video is amazingly in sync with the Senate Judiciary Hearing:

US Senate Committee on the Judiciary
Hearing on  Protecting Women from Gun Violence
Date: Wednesday, July 30, 2014 Time: 10:00 AM

I'm guessing "Everytown for Gun Safety" has a lawyer or two dedicated to finding all the postings of the copyright-infringing videos (using their original video) that make their preposterous claims that another law will stop violent people from being violent look as stupid as it is. The truth hurts. Can't have that! It'll be a race as to how fast can new people put the videos up vs. how fast can their lawyers get them taken down. A good use of their financial and time resources compared to producing videos that prove the opposite of what they assert.

Here's another response video to the "Everytown" failed "public service announcement"... I don't believe this one contains any copyrighted material from "Everytown" (unless their lawyers argue that it steals the basic "story" premise):

How about a real life instance where the victim of domestic abuse successfully used a gun to defend herself?
