Ebola would need to mutate into an airborne virus similar to influenza for it to have any real chance of causing a pandemic. Right now it's relatively difficult to spread and does so primarily in countries where sanitation is a problem.

I'm taking a surf trip soon and hopefully this thing blows up to a full bore panic. It would be nice is the lineups are empty when I get there.

Not sayin' you should believe everything on YouTube but I haven't seen any credible scientific reports to the contrary. Ebola is a great "scary" disease for fiction writers and tin foil hat wearers but in actuality it seems to pose minimal risk in terms of its chances of becoming a global pandemic. It's basically the assault weapon of the disease world right now, great for fear mongering but of little substance once you get down to facts.

Heard a rumor from someone in high places that hey might bring the patients to tripler because they have the "best facility and location" to contain a potential outbreak.
It only makes sense to put the infected in HI because it is easily quarantined from the rest of the civilized world.

There's no BSL 4 facility here, so that makes no sense.
