That way they can crow that "no" got the highest percentage of votes.
Polls are usually rigged to get the result the makers of the thing want. This is a perfect example. When the MSM announces the results, the individual choices will not be mentioned.

I for one applaud any workplace that permits their employees to carry on the job.
However, I think that private business or establishment on private property has the right to choose to allow or not allow their employees/customers/guests to be armed or not when they "on the clock".
I think that a business in states with CCW carriers that do not wish to allow their employee to carry should provide a safe a secure area in their building to allow their firearms to be locked up and securely monitored during working hours. That way guns are not left in cars, where they are easily stolen... or left at home where they do no good for the carrier once he has left work.

Funny, I was at HPD and several FFL's today and just about every employee of those establishments had open carry. :love:

Winning an election is one thing. 50% + 1 vote is a victory. Statistical analysis is a different thing. Although DBJ is clear in saying

Still, the margin of error on something like this, where N=? and the sample isn't randomly distributed has got to be at least 20% if not more.

I forwarded the poll url to Robert Farago of The Truth About Guns website, and he posted it on their Facebook page several days ago. The poll now (Tuesday August 26, 4 PM HST), with 1613 votes:
54% Yes, open or concealed carry.
28% Yes, concealed carry only.
17% No.
1% Other
That's 82% in favor of some kind of carry at work, with 17% against. Almost 5 TIMES as many favoring as opposing. Not a scientific poll. But that looks like "a clear victory". :shaka:

costco had a poll a year or so ago, and when the tide turned to "allow carry", they threw out the results, saying that internet postings leading people to the poll skewed the results
if it happened that antis posted it on their websites to vote and "disallow carry" had won, do you think that costco would've thrown out the results?

Lol, I imagine the anti's did do that, but the fact of it is there are more pro gun folks out there than we think. Most people, no matter what they(the antis) purport, really believe you need to have your right to defend your self and your family. The only way they could have won on the costco one, like any other thing, is to cheat. :rofl:
