I have a good mind to write the author and really let these people know what is really going on out here. Not sure which is worse, A state with no carry provisions or a state with provisions and a ban that prevents them. ::)

Definitely A state with carry provisions but with a ban that prevents them.
At least the other isn't being entirely underhanded and pretending to be something it's not.

In all fairness, Chicago's mayor has been presenting things as something other than what they really are for a long time. Carry is widely supported in the southern 2/3 of the state, and bills are introduced almost every year as the legislature tries to pass the laws they need. The people of Illinois get lheir share of being lied to.

Ahmen. Sounds like some other politician from Chicago that we all know... ::)
And welcome!
