I would love to know if the weapon is: 1. registered 2. registered to the person in possession of said firearm

Don't see anything illegal about selling a firearm at a bus stop. I've bought and should firearms at a Mcdonlds parking lot, City Mill parking lot, and banks parking lot.
Cash, Gun, and permit !

Too many variables:
You almost have to assume it's a pistol of some type (?).
Was it cased?
Is it stolen? Could he show a receipt or registration to prove ownership?
Is it registered? If so, was the seller the registered owner?
Did he tell the guy that reported him he'd have to get a permit and wait 2 weeks before concluding the transaction, or was this cash and carry?
Did heshow/would the other guy have asked for ID to make sure the seller was a resident?
Was he carrying it on the bus before approaching the other guy?
Did he remove it from the case (assuming cased) to show the other guy?
So many things he could have done/not done to break the law.
Sounds to me like a druggie needing some cash for a fix and didn't think trying to sell a stolen firearm at a bus stop would be risky!
Just my guess .... be interesting to get more details.
:wtf:
