The Hawaii Rifle Association Board of Directors has scheduled a Special Membership Meeting to deal with the anticipated anti-gun legislation in the Hawaii State Legislature opening January 21, 2015.

When:  Wednesday January 14, 2015, 5:30 - 7:00 pm (registration 5 pm -5:30)

Where:  Hilo Hattie's Conference Room, 700 Nimitz Highway, Oahu

Why:  There are changes in the Legislature following the 2015 elections calculated to allow passage of more restrictive gun laws this Legislative Session.  This is an informational meeting about what to expect, including good bills to support, and how to deal with the bad ones infringing on our 2nd Amendment Rights in Hawaii.

There is no store parking available.  Use Dole Cannery or the theatres across Nimitz.  Coffee service and water are provided, and there is a small cafe.

HRA memberships and renewals are available at the door ($20 annual).  Our NRA/ILA State Liaison from Sacramento, Dan Reid, will attend.

Hawaii Citizens' Rights Political Action Committee (HCR/PAC), the only pro-gun PAC in the State, will be taking donations to support candidates who support your gun rights.

Dr. Maxwell Cooper

I am going to try to make this.  Hope you will too.  As discussed earlier, it is messed up how they re-organized the legislature to facilitate pushing of the anti gun agenda.  We need to be unified and determined to prevent the passing of new asinine laws and push to restore rights.

This screwed up state is gonna make me ship some of my "stuff" out of here. Just stupid. I will support but if they are reorganizing the legislature to get something passed then there is little that can be done against a corrupt/tyrannical government.  One party system gets you this.
