So... the manufacturer should have known that their product was going to be used for mass murder...

I guess drug manufacterers should know their products would be sold illegally to users.  Alcoholic beverage manufacturers should know their products would be used to commit DWI's and result in fatalaties.  Auto makers as well, right?  Freakin' McDonalds should know they made Americans obese too.

Don't know why people insist on playing the blame game, especially when the responsible party is already dead.

For some reason Bushmaster seems to always draw short straw on these situations.

Bushmaster has always made the most popular brand of AR-15 in the US.  I would venture before the last two years, Bushmaster was the number one brand of AR-15 owned in the civilian market.

A Bushmaster was used at Sandy Hook, the Aurora Theater, and in an ambush where the shooter killed 2 firefighters responding to his house fire before killing himself.

The media trumpets the Bushmaster name whenever it is used in a crime, so it's no wonder the public associates that brand with evil.
