Does the private pistol owner have to be present at HPD when I bring the information for their pistol...or can I register a pistol without the private owner present like an FFL purchase? I hope someone understands cuz I kinda confused myself... :-\

They do not have to be present.
When you get the permit in two weeks though, its advisable to have them there to sign the form at the same time.

Right on! Thanks Kingkeoni

Anytime my brother.
By the way, are you going shooting this weekend?
-
We are shooting in Action Bay #1 with the Hawaii Defense Foundation. Feel free to come on out!

Little of both K. We will be there. Bring your favorite AR or AK, going to have some rifle going on.
Dont forget...gotta be a member to shoot.

How, pray tell, does one become a member?

I'm not a member yet, but I talked to one of the guys from there (I think it's the guy who posts here as funtimes), and you can just bring cash to the range, rather than doing the mail-order thing they outline on their website. IIRC, it's $25 per year, $15 for students, and $500 for a lifetime membership. I'm going to be there with my $25 in the morning. I've also never been to the action side of KKSC, so this will be a totally new experience for me.

So just $25 a year and you're in?
Who do you have to see?
Chris?
-
yeah King. We are going to try and do some practice ala fun shoot style in the morning. Trying to devote a bit of the afternoon for people to come out and practice the basics with handgun as well as introduce a few new people to firearms.

Sounds like somebody has their own range to conduct their classes. Well done, looks like some pushed the right buttons to get their own range. The locals should look at your example. Politics man politics you got to respect the Man for doing what he does. :worship:
Still working on fixing what was broken in the process though. That is my main goal.

Is this happening on Saturday or Sunday?

Ps
Sorry I hijacked your thread bananaclip :worship:

I had done it before. Previous owner need not be there. There's a place the previous owner needs to sign on the permit. You also have to sign the permit.
Looking forward to pics. :shaka:

That's it, along with barrel length.
