Norm's Sportsman Shop to replace Security Equipment Corp...........for today only. threw me off when i went to get something today. filming for Hawaii 5-0. :wacko:

Saw that too. I immediately knew was 5-0 b/c the HUGE trailer trucks parked along Young st.

They filmed in my neighborhood for 2 days a few weeks back, unfortunately can't stand the show so I won't see if my house is in it >:(

So the new Hawaii Five-O is just a complete remake of the original series? I saw a website that had screencaps of the old series and the new one that showed matching scenes.
I wonder how much SEC gets paid for their location to be used.

A former co-worker of mine had the place she was renting at the time used in the season finale. She was PCSing in a week so as part of the deal they helped her clean out the house top to bottom, and paid her $3K for the privilege of using the home. The landlord got nothing out of it besides publicity.

I liked the show at first. Now, I can't stand some of the actors.
