I saw this the other day.
He looks uber nerdy but he's so accurate.
-
I just picked up a recurve bow from Everything Archery along with some lessons from them. Very cool stuff.
-
That was a pretty good video.I wonder if it will be a trend, and there will be competition with that style of shooting.

It's cool, but I don't see this playing out in real combat.
I would rather learn how to use a sling, as slingers were far more accurate and feared than archers
That's interesting, Q. Especially if the slinger is named David.
A sling would also be an more practical ranged weapon than a bow to throw in a bag. Will have to check that out -- thanks.
What is the rate of fire using a sling?

I saw this vid, and have to agree, that guy is pretty amazing. Pretty much the Bob Munden of archery. Doesn't even look like he's aiming, just point shooting.
-
That's pretty cool... this guy was trying to teach me how to shoot some archery this weekend. Look him up chris brackett. Cool dude. He might come to visit me in the future to come hunt.

Wow. dedication. A whole new meaning.

Doesn't look like much power behind his shots... crazy aim though

Later in the video it shows the arrows going through chain mail.

Chain mail isn't meant to defeat arrows, so of course it would be easy to stick; especially if the chain mail is not made with hardened steel.
I would like to see how this did against hardened leather.
X2. Some of the shots barely went into Styrofoam looking stuff. Those long shots are crazy. I'll give him koodos
