Get a dog. My stupid dog loves to eat poop

=====================================
Your Dog Was Born to Eat Poop!
Before dogs were domesticated they were scavengers, living off of whatever they could find. Dogs commonly fed on the waste of other animals (and other dogs) thousands of years ago. Poop eating may just be a remnant of dog history.
In certain situations, as with a newborn litter of puppies, eating poop is instinctual and completely normal. A mother with pups is wired to keep her den clean so as not to attract predators with scent cues. Thus, she quite often will clean up after her young by consuming their poop.
For households with multiple dogs there is often a pecking order of dominant and submissive roles. Submissive dogs will sometimes eat the stool of their dominant counterparts.

Just don't let them lick your face after.

Well, to offer a more serious answer, short term I'm a "bag it" fan. It's easy, allows you the convenience of still being able to sit on your throne, and doesn't require either water or physical labor. Organizing neighborhood collection points, using sacrificial C&C trash cans, would be a step towards keeping the community sanitary and free of contamination and disease. We should be able to manage that system for weeks if not months.
If we're talking longer term, like the world actually ended, I think composting is really the only viable option in my area.

Bags with cat litter to control the smell.

That's what pools are for. Diving board required.

http://www.wikihow.com/Build-a-Composting-Toilet (http://www.wikihow.com/Build-a-Composting-Toilet)
Composting toilets make the most sense. If someone is sick it's a good idea to come up with an alternative way for them to dispose of the waste. Humanure can be added to a regular compost pile for further microbial breakdown, but it's risky when an illness is involved because animals and bugs can bring it back in the house.

Man..... Every time I see the title of this tread I have a picture of a certain person pop into my head..... :crazy:

My grandparents had an outhouse.
It was great fun to to tie a rock to a vine and go fishing for something.
