One 20rd magazine
or
Two 10rd magazine?

assuming they were blocked.

Appropriately blocked, two 10rd mags. If you have to remove the mag and switch sides to re-insert, its two mags by any legal measure. Would be no different than using two 10/30 AR mags with a Magpul maglink or other similar setup.
