Saw this story and wondered how & where everyone stores their gunpowder, primers, and ammo. I know gunpowder and primers usually aren't too big of a hazard since it'll just flare up in small quantities if left in a ventilated area. Are there any limitations on amounts that can be stored? Any safety tips?

Can a firefighter enter your house in search of HAZMAT based on a complaint?
yes they can for safety reason , but would constitute an ILLEGAL search and seizure.

All legal requirements apply to searches of private property so it would depend on the complaint.
Obviously, for a HAZMAT release or fire on property, they will enter. If it's not an obvious and immediate threat to life or property, HFD can't act without HPD.

the owner of the home ASKED for assistance. that's when the neighbors mentioned it. and in context, it was a totally valid concern, considering the arcing wires.
