Hi,
Has anyone ordered through Gallery of Guns? Was it a pleasant experience and how long did it take from time of order to local FFL receiving it?
Thanks

Made couple of bolt action rifle purchases. Love the life time warranty. Times vary from 3 days at the fastest and 5 days at the longest.

Davidson's Gallery of Guns is solid. Their prices are generally a little higher across the board, but every sale comes with a Davidson's lifetime guarantee. It's not a manufacturers warranty, it's covered by Davidson's itself.

Yeah the lil extra you pay is for peace of mind. Heard online that most times they just send a new firearm. But i wonder for those special firearms that they only did a certain amount or discontinued firearms if they cant fix it what happens? Do they pay you out? Like the HK SL8s and USC were sold through them. They are no longer available.

i ordered my last handgun through davidsons gallery of guns, and shipped to OGC.
it got there in 4 days. no problems.
OGC called me when it arrived.
it was a smooth transaction.
in addition to the price of the gun, there is also the FFL fee and the shipping.
price out the door was still about 100 less than retail

I'm very excited about ordering my first shotgun, but even more excited to surprise my wife that I bought one.
I researched as much as I could to see the prices. Ended up using Gallery of Guns, for this particular firearm, it was the best price from cost, shipping, FFL fees.
-
Good to know. At quick glance, I initially thought the prices were a bit on the high side.
-
The GoG's retail prices will variy from FFL to FFL.
I was also thinking about purchasing a handgun, but I was curious about how much they charge for: background checks, and is the tax Hawaii GET or Mainland where they are located?

I've purchased several firearms from Gallery of Guns. It's really simple and convenient, you get quotes from local dealers that show you exactly what it costs, including all fees, taxes, and shipping costs so no surprises. I'd say it takes about 3 - 4 days to arrive. They offer a lifetime guarantee too, just make sure you go online and register your firearm for the warranty. Your local gun store still makes money on the sale too.

Davidson's doesn't do any background checks, so there's no added charges from them. In the State of Hawaii, HPD does all background checks.
I haven't brought in anything from Davidson's in years, so their policy might have changed, but...
If you buy directly from Gallery of Guns, I don't think you will have any sales tax. The only tax you may see may be from your FFLs transfer fee.
If you buy from a local dealer who gets the gun from Davidson's, you may pay Hawaii sales tax on the entire amount.

The gun store i go to maui ammo and gun supply they dont charge you any transfer fee when dealing with davidsons.

You pay tax on whole transaction, there is no FFL fee, or at least there's not supposed to be. They conduct the sale through the transferring dealer so local tax applies.
-
If the FFL fees are already included into the price of the firearm, this appears to be a good deal. Now it just comes down to what is available via Gallery of Guns.

If the firearm is covered by our Guaranteed Lifetime Replacement Warranty (all items are as long as they are registered) then yes we absolutely will work with you to try to repair those special ones!
