Post by: Old Guy on June 05, 2015, 03:48:19 PM
This is what a local state gun association can do with Serious gun owners as members

How many members are there in this forum?

How many are Members of HRA?

How many gun owners are there in Hawaii?

How many are Serious about gun Rights?

Do the math.

NRA Life, HRA member  :shaka:

Activism in Hawaii has been rather low - unless it is a union, LGBT, or native Hawaiian issue.

I think there are several reasons for low activism.  Culture and island lifestyle not wanting to get involved.  A vast majority democrat gov where it feels hopeless to try something.  Cost of living keeps everyone focused on time and money.  Less free time due to traffic.  Less range options.  Lower gun ownership here by percentage.

In  a nut shell, reasons Why not to get involved.

Let some one else do it.

You get out what you put in.

In the 80s, HRA Rally at the Capitol had over 300 members show up

In the 90s HRA picketed Rey Graulty's fund raisers.  My Wife got her 20 seconds of fame on Chl 2.

Time for the new guys to rally 'round the flag and show what  they can do.
