We'd be better off as a nation if more people understood that the government does not grant rights; it exists primarily to protect them.

I think a lot of gun-grabbers, deep down, get that... but they're not intellectually honest enough to let it get in the way of their emotion- or power-driven agenda.

Let's help educate our fellows. It ain't gonna happen without us doing that. Same with gun rights (it is totally related to gun rights anyway).
