Title: 1911 spring kit

Hello 2AHi, just wondering what spring kit did you guys put in to your 1911. wolff or wilson combat spring kit. saw some on ebay for $18 free shipping. and im thinking of changing my spring on my 9mm 1911 RIA. thanks for the input

If your debate is between those two, Wilson Combat. Wolff doesn't make some of the nicest 1911s available.

wilson combat spring came in and installed but i dont like it. recoil spring is stiff when racking the slide. i guess the 316G is for .45 1911 kit. thinking pf selling and buy a kit for 9mm

You should've read the details and made sure it is for 9mm. Recoil spring should be around 10lbs.

it didnt specify which caliber. all its posted is for 1911 5" barrel. i copied the post from the sellers page and posted it to my WTS spring kit thread.

 So thats why im selling that spring kit now and purchased this wolff spring kit. described as for .38 and 9mm
