There is a link to email the mayor directly; just click a few times, write a little message and send it out. Let him know you are watching and against the waste of tax payers $$$.

so sad. i couldnt help. hope who ever did email makes a difference. Like arizona its illegal to destroy a firearm. What ever the police confiscates, they hold auctions that only ffl dealers can attend and bid on. From what i was told.

Not sure what link you are referring to. Both the NRA-ILA and Contact the Mayor links work for me ....

Try this: Turn on TLS 1.0, TLS 1.1, and TLS 1.2 in Advanced settings and try connecting to https://www.honolulu.gov again. If this error persists, contact your site administrator.
It worked for me when I changed settings.

HNN 10 o' clock news said that the firearms went to Campbell Industrial to be destroyed today.

It is absolutely a very bad example of wasting tax payer money. Some of the pistols are new and still in the box.
This is being done at a time when the city is desperately in need of money to pay for rail and other expenses.
