Marcus Luttrell - former United States Navy SEAL, who received the Navy Cross and Purple Heart for his actions in June 2005 facing Taliban fighters during Operation Red Wing.

Co-authored the New York Times bestseller Lone Survivor: The Eyewitness Account of Operation Redwing and the Lost Heroes of SEAL Team 10. A film version starring Mark Wahlberg was released on December 25, 2013.

I don't think that is an official NRA commercial.
He is too sloppily dressed and the audio is unprofessional.
The youtube video was not posted by NRA.
It was posted by something called "Ish's Tactical Solutions"

The NRA has 3 main bodies.  The National Rifle Association of America which deals mostly with the training and education, civilian and LE.  The NRA-ILA which is the lobbying side of the house.  The third is the NRA Foundation which is the charity side of things.

Ok thanks. I stand corrected.
But I still think they could have done better on that spot.
Image does play a big part in public perception.
