Title: Zastava M85 Underfolding Rifle "legal in Hawaii?"
Post by: Oahushooter on December 13, 2015, 11:53:17 AM
I am returning to island in a few months and have a question about one of my AKs.  It's a Zastava M85 underfolding AK with 10" barrel and faux barrel supressor that equals 17" total from chamber end of barrel.  The faux supressor does not come off as it has been welded in place.  Can anyone tell me if HPD will register this or give me a hard time?

Here is a link of the weapon:  http://www.atlanticfirearms.com/component/virtuemart/shipping-rifles/krinkov-m85-5-56-223-ak-rifle-detail.html?Itemid=0

you'll be fine as long as the fauxppresor is "permanent"

As long as the barrel is over 16 in and the faux suppressor is permanent, they won't bother you.
