Isnt a kitchen knife, hammer, baseball bat or vehicle a potential "assault weapon" as well? I never see this on the news yet im sure these inanimate objects are used time to time to commit violent acts.

Check Britain, they've started knife control. There's already an age limit I believe, even for plastic knives.
Yes, they really are that stupid.

Wow thats sad...... Yet interesting. Sure glad we dont live there. Btw did you know the british empire invaded 9 out of 10 countires? Lol

Figured while we are exchanging interesting facts throw that in the mix

Sure, by definition, anything used to assault someone is an assault weapon. The issue is of course more complicated than that but your comment is a sober point that needs to be made over and over again.

Having moved here to the USA from the Britain, I can tell you that they have not started knife control they have completed it, They can stop and search anyone at any time with no reason, their is almost a complete ban on knifes in public spaces.

What's next? Stick control?
You'll need to be a certain age to use chopsticks.
I guess the saying below is especially true: "An armed man is a citizen. An unarmed man is a subject."
