Remember the 3/1/2016 votes on the anti-gun bills?  McDermott is the only one who voted no on those bills when they were in the JUD committee.

He was one of my undergrad economics teachers many years ago.  Very good guy and he was a diehard republican back then, as he still is today.  We need many more like him!

We need a ton more like him, if we ever want to see our gun rights.  He is one of only a few with the intestinal fortitude to stand up to these crooks and do what is right, not what is easy.   

He does not go along to get along.  EXACTLY what this state needs in leaders!!!!
